I'm a basterd.

Going to go and see Inglourious Basterds today.

As a lover of Tarantino's films to date, I really, really hope I won't be let down by this one. Although my friends are saying it's the best one yet. Possible?

Spider eyes

It's too easy to be aware of the fact that people with pale skin are more likely to be sensitive to make-up products. People like me; freckles at a slight glimpse of sun, puffs up as a reaction to foundation and can't wear most things due to some allergy or another (when I was younger I was continuously being banned from certain perfumes, mascaras, etc...).

So hmm. I guess what I'm trying to do is make a note of what works well for me ... and possibly for others too. I'm losing my memory bit by bit, and lose so many bits of make-up that I just go around trying others. Some work, some don't.

Anywho, today I tried Clarins' 'Wonder Length' mascara. My sister had just bought it, and I couldn't resist the chance to try on £17 worth of gloop... before she had the chance...whoops.

It does what it says on the tin, and certainly adds length to your lashes. However, I found that it clumped quite easily, something that you don't expect when you pay £17. There are other, cheaper brands (Rimmel, L'Oreal, even Natural Collection @Boots) which promise clump-free eyelashes and stick to their word. So why not this?

I'd rather have longer, natural looking lashes than spiderlegs protruding from my eyes. However, gotta give Clarins credit - despite the fact that my eyelashes are clumpy, the volume has definitely been added.

And as a plus, I have so far received no allergic reaction to it :)
